Parking and Arrival
Please note that all swimmers must use the Main School Car Park, which is in the main school entrance off the High Street and into the school. The school entrance takes you round to the left hand side and there are parking spaces available.
Once parked, swimmers should exit the school site via the same entrance way, and walk the short distance back down the High Street, towards the shops. You will see a left hand gravel entrance by the traffic lights which takes you directly to the pool. On entry to the gravel driveway, turn left and the pool is located up the stairs.
Please enter using the changing room doors which are at the top of the stairs on the right.
Important Information
Please note there is no access available to the pool by any other route through the school site.
Parents are not allowed to access the venue by walking through the centre of the school, and staff do not have the ability to open the school gates. Please note there is also no parking available on the gravel driveway by the pool as this is residential parking only.
Swimming hats must be worn by all swimmers at this pool.
Please note that poolside opens out onto deeper water, and as such all siblings and swimmers should be supervised at all times for safety.
Changing
On entry to the changing rooms, please remove shoes and socks. There are showers before entry onto poolside, and space to change. Please ensure that children arrive as ready for lessons as possible and that changing is limited to 10mins before and after to ensure all classes have space to use the facilities.
Siblings and Spectators
Please note that due to the size of the venue, one adult per child swimming is permitted on poolside. On entry poolside, parents and spectators should turn right and walk carefully around poolside to the seating area. The shallow end is sectioned off for teachers and classes to work safely.
Siblings must not be allowed to run around poolside and should also be seated for safety. Please see our code of conduct for lessons for more information.
Accessibility
Please note that entry to the pool is via a short walk down the road from the parking and so children should be supervised at all times.
The venue is accessible via the staircase up to the changing rooms.
The changing rooms are small and the entrance takes you directly into the changing rooms. Please come prepared to remove outdoor shoes and bring appropriate footwear to enter changing rooms/poolside.
